Olesh Babiak, MD, Anesthesiologist at Associates in Anesthesia Inc. has been named a 2017 Top Doctor in Upland, Pennsylvania. His pursuit of a medical career began in 1986, when he graduated from Philadelphia’s Hahnemann University. Upon earning his Medical Degree, Dr. Babiak would go on to complete both an internship and residency in Anesthesia at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, before joining the medical staff at the Crozer Chester Medical Center (CCMC) in Upland, Pennsylvania.
Board certified in Anesthesiology, Dr. Babiak has dedicated his life to providing the highest standard of quality care to his patients. He is noted for his expertise in neurosurgical anesthesia, orthopedic anesthesia and regional anesthesia, and routinely staffs the robotic and neurosurgical operating rooms at CCMC. There, his proficiency in advanced airway management skills are utilized daily, as well as his ability to manage patients with perioperative pain management challenges.
In 1998, Dr. Babiak was appointed Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine, and he continues to serve in that capacity today, 19 years later. He has served on and chaired numerous staff committees and is the Past President of the CCMC Medical Staff.
To stay current with the latest advances in medicine, Dr. Babiak remains a distinguished member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), and the Pennsylvania Society of Anesthesiologists (PSA), and has previously served as an alternate delegate to these associations.
