Guest is an established Nurse Practitioner currently serving patients within the Eastpointe Medical Clinic in Poteau, Oklahoma and she is also affiliated with the Sparks Health System. Featuring over eight years experience in her field, she has a special expertise in family practice, intensive care and acute care nursing.
Jami gained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2009 from the University of Oklahoma College of Nursing in Oklahoma City, having earlier gained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Health Sciences from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. An advocate for continuing education, in 2015 she earned her Master of Science Degree from Walden University, becoming an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She is also EKG certified, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certified, Neonatal Resuscitation Program certified, and is a Trauma Nurse Specialist.
Jami has already gained experience in many fields of nursing, and has occupied increasingly senior positions. She is a distinguished member of the International Nurses Association, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, allowing her to stay current with the latest advances in her field. Jami attributes her success to the support of her parents and her faith in God, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, fishing, baseball, and church activities.
