Upon relocating to the United States he completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University Charity Hospital in New Orleans. Pursuing advanced medical training, Dr. Jawdat undertook his fellowship training in Cardiology within the same institution, before completing an additional fellowship with the Alton Ochsner Medical Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Jawdat is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, and has earned the coveted titles of Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Fellow of the American College of International Physicians, Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention, and Fellow and Master of the American Academy of Cardiology. He has dedicated his life to providing the highest standard of quality care to his patients, and attributes his success to his determination to achieve his goals and always looking to the future.
