Dr. Robert Lynn Horne is a highly experienced and respected psychiatrist, having been in practice for more than four decades. His distinguished career in psychiatry began in 1975 when he graduated from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. Upon earning his Medical Degree, he completed an internship at Washington University’s Barnes-Jewish Hospital, before undertaking his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Horne is dual board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Psychiatry and in Geriatric Psychiatry, and it is in this latter field that he has become especially renowned. He also holds board certification in Forensic Medicine, Integrative Pain Management, as well as being certified by the American Board of Pain Educators. Conditions treated by him range from anorexia nervosa to depressive disorders and drug addiction.
Alongside his practice, Dr. Horne also serves as a Professor of Psychiatry at the Roseman University College of Medicine. In recognition of his achievements and expertise he has been named a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and his dedication and expertise makes Dr. Robert Lynn Horne a very worthy winner of a 2017 Top Doctor Award.
