The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Lindsay M. Kreps, RN, BSN to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Lindsay M. Kreps is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients in the Northern Indiana area. She features over five years of experience in her field, and has a special expertise in oncology, spiritual care, palliative care, alternative pain, symptom management and diabetic advancements, due to caring for her mother whom had DM Type 1 for 36 years and passed in August of 2013 from hypoglycemic complications.
Lindsay’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 2012 when she graduated with her Nursing Degree from Bethel College. An advocate for continuing education, she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing, and is currently enrolled in their MSN-FNP program. Lindsay’s heart is truly in serving those whom society has forgotten, and she has research interests in geriatrics, oncology, diabetic advancements, palliative care, alternative pain, symptom management, and spiritual care.
The Hospice House, Legacy Hospice and Palliative Care, will be a non-profit charitable organization. Lindsay’s vision includes a building with a home like atmosphere that will offer 20 hospice beds and 5 beds for respite care. This will be a full functioning medical facility with a home atmosphere where clients and their families can spend their final days together in safety, comfort and peace knowing they will not die alone. The respite care will be offered for any special needs client whose family needs temporary care for the individual. She will also have a specialty practice with geriatrics and special needs adults, in addition to running the hospice, by opening a Nurse led clinic to reach this growing population.
