Donna’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1978, when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Colorado College of Nursing. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to gain her Master of Science Degree from Georgia State University. Thereafter, she attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, becoming a certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
To stay current with the latest advances in her field, Donna remains a professional member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the United Advanced Practice Registered Nurses of Georgia. She has received multiple awards throughout her distinguished career, including an SNA Outstanding Advisor Award in 2008, a Nurse Excellence Award in 2009, and a Health Hero Award in 2012. She has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of care and education, and attributes her success to loving what she does. When she is not working, Donna enjoys spending time with family, friends and exercising.
