The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Delores Tambascia-Robinson, RN, BS, BSN, MSN, FNP, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Delores Tambascia-Robinson is a retired Family Nurse Practitioner residing in Augusta, Maine. Featuring nearly five decades of experience in nursing, she has a special expertise in intensive care, critical care, emergency care, telemetry, ventilators, orthopedics, medical/surgical, pediatrics, and Alzheimer’s disease. Also functioned in the capacity as Unit Manager and Supervisor in many units.
Delores completed her initial nursing training in 1968 from the Waltham Vocational School of Practical Nursing, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. In 1991, she attended Bridgewater State University, earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. An advocate for continuing education, Delores went on to gain her RN with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 1995 from Massasoit Community College, followed by her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2000 from Regis College. Thereafter, she obtained her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration in 2003, also at Regis College.
Delores has worked in many fields of nursing throughout her long and successful nursing career, and has dedicated her life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to her patients. She remains a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and attributes her success to her desire to always do the best she can for others. Now retired, Delores enjoys reading, gardening and cooking, and she is also involved with ministry work at her church.
