Born in British Columbia, Canada, Dr. Nowek’s acclaimed career in medicine began in 1984 when he graduated with his Medical Degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in New York, New York. He has completed postgraduate training in several subspecialties including, urology, anesthesiology, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, family practice, emergency medicine, ophthalmology, pediatrics, radiology, and Legal Medicine. Dr. Nowek has also undertaken a wide range of further courses and gained a long list of certifications and qualifications, including Medicine Administration and Medicine Psychology from the Diplomatic Medical Association of Occupational Health. He is National Board Certified in General Medicine in Mexico. In addition, he is well versed in reference to the I.A.D.C., ( International Association Of Drilling Contractors), as well as to the Mexican Norms of STPS. He has been, is currently, and would be a definite asset to any Foreign and Domestic Oil Drilling Company and their auxillary services in Mexico and abroad. His Offshore experience is second to none.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Nowek serves as company physician for example, Ensco Drilling Mexico and Diamond Offshore Drilling, and several others, and is also experienced with International Air Ambulance Services. He is a distinguished member of the COPARMEX, the Mexican Society of Occupational Health Specialists, and the Mexican Society of Occupational Health Southeast Chapter, allowing him to stay current with the latest advances in his field. Dr. Nowek attributes his success to his passion for medicine, as well as his determination to make a difference in his field.
