The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Johnny Jimenez, RN, BSN, DON, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Johnny Jimenez is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients as Director of Nursing within the Westgate Gardens Care Center in Visalia, California. Featuring over seven years of experience in nursing, he is a specialist nursing home nurse.
After having experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Johnny completed his practical nursing training at the College of the Sequoias in 2010, becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse. He later graduated with his Nursing Degree with honors from Fresno City College, and in 2016 earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. An advocate for continuing education, Johnny is currently pursuing his Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration at Fresno Pacific University. He holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Johnny has rapidly become known for his expertise and enthusiasm, and as Director of Nursing he oversees the day to day operations of the Westgate Gardens Care Center. He stays current with the latest advances in his field by remaining a professional member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners, and attributes his success to the support of his dad, who gave him the confidence and courage to become a nurse. When he is not working, Johnny enjoys hiking and running.
