Dr. Marcelin’s acclaimed career in medicine began in 1970, when he graduated with his Medical Degree from the State University of Haiti School of Medicine in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After moving to the United States, he served his internship and residency training at the Harlem Hospital Center in New York, before undertaking an additional residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, also in New York. Dr. Marcelin is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and takes voluntary MOC certification on a yearly basis. He is an excellent laparoscopist and robotic Surgeon.
Dr. Marcelin is especially renowned as an expert in vaginal surgery, and has been awarded the coveted title of Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Moreover, he is a distinguished member of the Haitian Medical Association, and visits Haiti regularly, providing free medical assistance and distributing food and gifts. He attributes his success to his friendly personality and being a people person, and when he is not assisting patients, Dr. Marcelin enjoys soccer, tennis and swimming, playing guitar, and dancing.
