Featuring over four decades of experience in nursing, she has a special expertise in endocrinology and diabetes.
Carol’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1973, when she graduated with her Nursing Degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to gain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan School of Nursing in Ann Arbor. Thereafter, she obtained her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan, after which she became a board certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
Carol has worked in many fields of nursing throughout her distinguished career, in increasingly senior positions. She is a professional member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, allowing her to stay current with the latest advances in her field. A previous winner of a Nurse of the Year Award from Michigan University, Carol attributes her success to her patient centric approach to healthcare, and empowering her patients by educating them.
