Noteworthy Family Nurse Practitioner, Mary K. Armstrong, RN, MSN, FNP-C, CDE, will be Featured in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Mary K. Armstrong, RN, MSN, FNP-C, CDE, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Mary K. Armstrong is an established Family Nurse Practitioner currently serving patients within the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Featuring over six years of experience in nursing, she is a specialist nurse practitioner and certified diabetes instructor.

Mary’s acclaimed career in nursing began after graduating with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Mississippi. An advocate for continuing education, she remained at the University of Mississippi, earning her Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration in 2011. Since graduating, she has completed a number of advanced training courses and holds additional certification in Basic Life Support.

To stay current with the latest advances in nursing, Mary remains an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Diabetes Educators. Alongside her practice, she lectures and serves as a tutor for the University of Mississippi’s Nurse Practitioner students, and attributes her success to her desire to give back what she receives from her patients. When she is not assisting patients, Mary enjoys outdoor sports, especially water sports, exercise, and spending time with her family.
