He is particularly noted as an expert on locally advanced, recurrent, and metastatic cancer, and he is also at the forefront of medical research in this field at the MGH Cancer Center.
Alongside his practice, Dr. Cusack serves as an Associate Professor of Surgery at the prestigious Harvard Medical School, and he is also Director of Harvard’s Peritoneal Surface Malignancy Program as well as a Director of Global Surgery Initiative. He has been awarded the coveted title of Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is the author of over a hundred medical papers and book chapters.
