The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Steven Simms, RN, MSN, to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Steven Simms is an established Registered Nurse currently serving as Nursing Director within St. John’s Community Services in Red Bank, New Jersey. Featuring over two decades of experience in his field, he is a specialist in cardiology and mental health nursing.
Steven’s career in nursing began in 1997, when he graduated with his Nursing Degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. An advocate for continuing education, he went on to gain his Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. Since graduating, he has completed a number of advanced training courses, and is endorsed to practice advanced nursing in mental health.
Steven has a wealth of experience in many areas of nursing, holding increasingly senior positions. He is an active member of the American Nurses Association and the Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association, and was named Nurse of the Year by Washington Hospital consecutively from 2003 to 2009. When he is not working, Steven enjoys sports, reading and playing video games.
