Boykin is an established Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Consultant currently serving patients within the VA Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Featuring over four decades of experience in nursing, she is a specialist nephrology and medical/surgical nurse.
Erma’s acclaimed career in nursing began after completing her initial nursing training in 1970 at Washington State University in Pullman, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. An advocate for continuing education, she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, followed by her Master of Science Degree in Nursing. Furthermore, Erma obtained her Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Phoenix, and holds additional certifications in Nephrology Nursing and Legal Nurse Consulting.
Erma has a wealth of experience in many areas of nursing, and alongside her work at the VA Medical Center she also serves as an expert nurse consultant to the legal profession and is an Accredited Case Manager. To keep up to date with the latest advances in her field she is an active member of the American Nephrology Nurses Association, and has dedicated her life to delivering the highest level of quality and compassionate care.
