Darlene Ann Kurman is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients within Mercy Behavioral Health Hospital in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She features over four decades of experience in nursing.
Darlene’s acclaimed career in nursing began in 1973 when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree from Saint Anselm College. An advocate for continuing education, in 1984 Darlene gained her Master in Health Science Degree from Quinnipiac University. She then received her certificate for Holistic Nursing from the Birch Tree Center for Health Care, and in 2014 earned her Master of Arts Degree in Integrative Health and Healing from the Graduate Institute in Connecticut.
In her esteemed career, Darlene has gained experience in many fields of nursing, from gynecology, holistic, and post anesthesia care, epidemiology, in section control and addiction, to sales home infusion and respiratory therapies and services. She is Board Certified as a Holistic Nurse. To stay current with the latest advances in nursing, she is a professional member of the American Holistic Nurses Association, and attributes her success to her belief in continual learning and her desire to learn the latest techniques. When she is not assisting patients, Darlene enjoys swimming, walking and ballroom dancing.
