Dr. Janusz Feber has been in practice for more than three decades and is currently serving as Professor at the University of Ottawa. He is also on staff at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa, Ontario.
Dr. Feber’s acclaimed career in medicine began in 1986 when he graduated with his Medical Degree from Charles University in Prague. Pursuing advanced medical training, he undertook his fellowship training in Pediatric Nephrology at Motol University Hospital in Prague, and completed additional training in France and Germany. He is certified in both Canada and the Czech Republic, and has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada
Dr. Feber is a distinguished member of many professional organizations including the American Society of Nephrology, the International Pediatric Nephrology Association, the International Pediatric Transplant Association, the Canadian Association of Pediatric Nephrologists, and the Canadian Society of Transplantation. Known also for his important research into bone disease in children, he has been published extensively. He says that his success is thanks to his passion for his work and his love for children, and when he is not assisting patients, Dr. Feber enjoys biking, skiing, swimming and scuba diving.
