The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Maria Paradiso, BSN, RN to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Maria Paradiso is an established Registered Nurse currently serving patients at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Now in her fourth year of nursing, she is a specialist medical/surgical and infusion nurse, as well as an expert in dialysis.
Maria’s career in nursing began in 2014 when she graduated with her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from St. Paul’s School of Nursing. An advocate for continuing education, Maria then went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Since graduating she has completed a number of advanced training courses, and holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, EKG, and IV Therapy.
Maria has quickly become renowned for her expertise and her enthusiasm. She was inspired to enter nursing after seeing the outstanding care her grandmother received from nursing staff during an illness, and she attributes her success to the support of her family, and the excellent mentors and colleagues that she’s had. When she is not assisting patients, Maria enjoys traveling, reading, visiting the beach, and spending time with her family.
