Dr. Woojin Cho’s acclaimed career in medicine began in 1999 when he graduated with his Medical Degree from Hanyang University Medical School in Seoul, South Korea. He subsequently completed a residency and fellowship at Hanyang University, where he also gained his Doctor of Philosophy Degree. After moving to the United States, Dr. Cho completed further fellowships at the Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis, Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis, the University Virginia Health System, and the Hospital for Special Surgery respectively.
Dr. Cho is certified by the Korean Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and has an international reputation as a leading spine surgeon, having made more than 170 presentations across the world. Alongside his practice, he serves as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and in 2013 he was nominated for a Value Abstract Award by the North American Spine Surgery. He is a professional member of many professional organizations, allowing him to stay current in his field. Dr. Cho attributes his success to his perseverance.
