Dr. Garcia is double board certified by the American Board of Radiology in both Diagnostic Radiology and in Vascular & Interventional Radiology, and it is in this latter field that he has become a renowned expert. He has pioneered treatment for patients suffering from chronic DVT and Post Thrombotic Syndrome. Conditions treated by him include thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, atherosclerosis, arterial and venous vascular disease, interventional oncology and venous compression. Procedures commonly undertaken by Dr. Garcia range from venous scleropathy to endovascular repair of the aorta.
Dr. Garcia is co-founder and Medical Director of the Vascular and Interventional Associates of Delaware, is Chief Executive Officer of Endovascular Consultants, and has earned the coveted titles of Fellow of the American College of Radiology and Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology.
