The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Julie Anne McMillan, RN, BSN, MSN, CFNP, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Julie Anne McMillan is an established Family Nurse Practitioner currently serving patients within East Tennessee Nephrology in Knoxville, Tennessee, and is also on staff at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Featuring nearly three decades of experience in nursing, she is a specialist nephrology nurse.
Julie’s career in nursing began in 1988 when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Tennessee College of Nursing. Twelve years later, she gained her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from Carson-Newman University, becoming a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Julie has a wealth of experience in many areas of nursing, occupying increasingly senior positions. She is an inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and remains an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Julie attributes her success to her hard work, her excellent mentors, and her passion for helping people. When she is not assisting patients, Julie enjoys hiking, gardening, and watching sports.
