Dr. Golio has a wealth of experience as an ophthalmologist, but he is particularly renowned as an oculoplastic surgeon and craniofacial surgeon, treating patients of all ages. He is one of New York’s foremost specialists in head and neck reconstructive surgery, and in the surgical treatment of craniomaxillofacial trauma in both adults and children.
Dr. Golio is internationally renowned as an expert in his field, and has given lectures across the globe as well as authoring many book chapters and medical papers. He is a former Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery and Ophthalmology at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center.
