As an experienced general medicine physician, Dr. Balladares-Huete has diagnosed and treated a wide range of conditions for patients of all ages. She is most noted, however, for her expert clinical research undertaken at the Miami Children’s Hospital Research Institute. Dr. Balladares-Huete manages and administers medical research teams within the Institute. She is also a distinguished member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, the Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Investigators, and the Children’s Oncology Group.
Dr. Balladares-Huete is particularly renowned as an expert on pediatric bone low mineral density, and has written many medical papers on this subject, as well as being at the forefront of vital research.
