Dr. Herdocia’s acclaimed career in dentistry began in 1978 when he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the National University of Nicaragua in Managua. He subsequently completed an internship in crowns, bridges, and endodontics at CIERO, Mexico from 1979 to 1981. He completed an additional internship with Charles M. Weiss at Ortronics, where he learned Blades Implants, and later Root Form Implants such as Core Vent, Zimmer, Dentsply, MIS, Bio Horizons, and Omni Hex, among others. Dr. Herdocia went on to undertake his residency at the Graduate School for Foreign Trained Dentists at New York University from 1997 to 1998, before his fellowship training in Dental Implantology at the Robert Morgan Institute in Miami in 2006.
Dr. Herdocia provides a comprehensive range of general and cosmetic dental solutions, and is especially renowned as a leading expert in dental implantology and cosmetic dentistry. He has been a pioneer in dental implantology since 1998, and a pioneer in laser dentistry since 2005. He regularly appears as a speaker at seminars on Implantology and Cosmetics for LAODI & NADA, and has a patent on a Quick Suction Device. When he is not assisting his patients, Dr. Herdocia enjoys scuba diving, traveling, fishing, reading, and socializing.
