Highly Regarded Registered Nurse, Marrianne McGhee, RN, BN, MaED will be Featured in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Marrianne McGhee, RN, BN, MaED to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Marrianne is an established Registered Nurse featuring 17 years of experience in her field. She is the CEO and Founder of the surgical software ScrubUp, a software aiming to enhance operating room efficiency by better preparing the surgical team, and optimising patient safety. Currently functioning as a mobile application, ScrubUp provides step by step features in preparing and setting up for each surgical specialty and each procedure.

Marrianne’s career in nursing began after graduating from Western Sydney University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. An advocate for continuing education, she attended the University of Technology Sydney, earning her Master of Arts Degree in Education. Marrianne has also trained in a large public hospital, and has since worked in both public and private sectors. In addition to her work with ScrubUp, Marrianne is an expert reviewer for the Health Care Complaints Commission, volunteers to perform overseas aid with Orthopaedic Outreach, and lectures at university as a casual academic.

To stay current in her field, Marrianne is an active member of the Australian Nursing & Midwifery Federation, the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, the Australian College of Operating Room Nurses, and the Australia Nurse Teacher Society. She is a specialist in perioperative, nurse education, and nursing theatre device design and implementation. Marrianne attributes her success to her open and honest communication, her strong sense of doing what is right for others, and being fair in decision making. When she is not working, she enjoys going for long walks, listening to music, reading, catching up with friends, and spending quality time with her family.
