Jayson, MD, FACS, Urologist to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in The Leading Physicians of the World. Dr. Jayson is a highly trained and qualified physician with a vast expertise in all facets of his work, especially minimally invasive prostate surgery, female urology, and pediatric urology. Featuring over two decades of experience in his field, Dr. Jayson is currently serving patients within the South Florida Urology Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
Dr. Jayson obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biopsychology and Economics in 1986 from Tufts University in Massachusetts. His acclaimed career in medicine began in 1990, when he graduated with his Medical Degree from Jefferson Medical College in Pennsylvania. An internship in General Surgery and residency in Urology then followed at Yale University School of Medicine in Connecticut, where Dr. Jayson served as Chief Resident. In 2000, he earned his Executive Certificate in Healthcare Management at Cornell University, Johnson Graduate School of Management in New York. Dr. Jayson is certified by the American Board of Urology.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Jayson serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Nova Southeastern University and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and as Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine. He serves as President of the Urology Section of the Suffolk County Medical Society, and remains an active member of numerous professional organizations. Dr. Jayson attributes his success to providing individualized patient care, as well as staying knowledgeable about all treatments, and when he is not working he enjoys photography and wine tasting.
