Heather’s career in nursing began in 2002 when she graduated with her Nursing Degree from Gwynedd Mercy University. An advocate for continuing education, she previously attended Pennsylvania State University, graduating with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration. After obtaining her Nursing Degree she continued her education at Carlow University and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She recently received her Master of Science Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Carlow University as well. Presently, Heather is pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Chatham University which she is expected to graduate in 2019.
Heather is a distinguished member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and has been honored with a Manchester Award and Diana Mossip Memorial Scholarship in 2016. She credits her success to setting a good example for her children, following what her parents taught her “that sky’s the limit when you set goals”. In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, hiking, and weight training.
