Dr. Schalow gained his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2002 from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, after a successful career as a concert violinist. Prior to graduating, he had spent a number of years learning the Alexander Chiropractic Technique at the Wielopolska Training School for the Alexander Technique and at the Constructive Teaching Centre for the Alexander Technique.
Dr. Schalow was inspired to enter the chiropractic world by the positive results that he saw the Alexander Technique having on his own disability. To stay current in his field, he maintains professional memberships with the International Chiropractors Association, the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association, the Illinois Prairie State Chiropractic Association, the Society of Chiropractic Orthospinology, and Performing Arts Medical Association. He says that his success is thanks to his perseverance, as well as his hard work and thorough approach, and in his free time, Dr. Schalow enjoys spending time with his family.
