Exceptional Anesthesiologist, Anthony J. Espinet, Bsc, MBBS, FRCA, FFPMANZCA will be Noted in The Leading Physicians of the World

Dr. Espinet is a highly trained and qualified physician with a vast expertise in all facets of his work, especially back and neck pain, cancer pain, complex regional pain syndrome and the use of spinal cord stimulators for pain management. Featuring over three decades of experience in his field, he is currently serving patients as the Senior Interventional Chronic Pain Specialist and Senior Anesthesiologist within The Pain Doctors in Benowa, Queensland, which he cofounded in 2008.

Dr Espinet’s career in medicine began in 1987 when he graduated with his Medical Degree and Diploma in Anesthesiology from the University of the West Indies. After graduating, Dr. Espinet completed extensive post-graduate training in Edinburgh Scotland, England UK, Europe, Texas USA, and Australia, before entering into private practice in Queensland, Australia. Dr. Espinet is dual board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management, and has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the Royal College of Anesthesiology, and Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of Australia and New Zealand.

In addition to his work at The Pain Doctors, Dr. Espinet is also a Senior Lecturer at Griffith University, Assistant Professor at Bond University, and is also affiliated with several hospitals in the Gold Coast, where he practices as a VMO Specialist in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. He maintains a professional membership with the International association for the Study of Pain, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the International Neuromodulation Society, and has conducted several multicenter clinical trials and published over 20 articles and abstracts in scientific journals. He is currently involved in a Phase I/II placebo-controlled randomized clinical trial of Etanercept in Australian patients with chronic stroke. He attributes his success to his technical knowledge and hard work, and when he is not working Dr. Espinet enjoys traveling.
