Renowned Nurse Supervisor and Professor Emeritus, Joan Miller, RN, will be Exhibited in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare

The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Joan Miller, RN, Professor Emeritus, to their organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Joan Miller is Professor Emeritus, Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. Featuring over three decades in her field, Joan has worked and taught in all facets of nursing, especially leadership studies and clinical supervision. As Professor Emeritus at Bloomsburg University, Joan is committed to developing the next generation of nurses.

Joan Miller received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. An advocate for continuing education, she received her Master of Science Degree in Nursing within the same educational venue. She then obtained her Post Master’s certification as a Nurse Practitioner from Pennsylvania State University. She went on to obtain her PhD in Human Development from Marywood University.

With her physician husband, Joan conducts short-term international service trips to Jamaica and Ecuador for college students. She is also involved in Harvard University’s The Good Project. An inductee of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Joan attributes her success to the diverse experiences she has had as a nurse and her relationships with respected educators such as Dr. Howard Gardner. When she is not working, Joan enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her 13 grandchildren.
