Ann Marie Watts is a Family Nurse Practitioner currently serving patients within CaroMont Family Medicine in Belmont, North Carolina. With more than four decades of experience in nursing, she is a specialist family medicine nurse.
Ann Marie Watts graduated with her initial Nursing Diploma from the Holy Cross School of Nursing in 1973, becoming a Registered Nurse. An advocate for continuing education, she later gained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, followed by her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Ann Marie has worked in many areas of nursing in increasingly senior roles, and she has also taught at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She says that her success is thanks to her flexibility and her belief in the importance of continual learning. When she is not assisting patients, Ann Marie enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and visiting the mountains or the beach.
