Dr. Howard Anthony Rose is a very experienced orthopedist, having been in practice for over 39 years. His career in medicine started in 1977, when he graduated from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He followed this with an internship at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston, and a residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, with whom he remains associated. Dr. Rose then completed a fellowship at Harvard University’s Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Rose is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and he provides surgical solutions for a wide range of conditions and traumas, as well as non-surgical treatments. He treats all sports medicine conditions including meniscus surgery, ACL reconstructions, shoulder stabilizations, rotator cuff repair, Achilles tendon repair, and total knee and hip replacements.
Alongside his practice, Dr. Rose also serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Weill Cornell Medical College.
