Dr. Joel Richard Barkoff obtained his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1959. An internship then followed at the University of Michigan Hospitals, prior to a residency at the hospital of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Barkoff is dual board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology, has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and remains a professional member of 34 medical societies and organizations. Throughout his long and successful career, he has participated in many important research projects. Now semi-retired, Dr. Barkoff enjoys playing golf.
