Amadasun is a Registered Nurse currently serving patients within Vancouver Coastal and Fraser Health Authorities in British Columbia. With more than three decades of experience in nursing, she is a specialist operating room nurse.
Joan’s career in nursing began in 1985, when she graduated with her Nursing Diploma from the Kingston School of Nursing in Jamaica. Since graduating Joan has completed a number of advanced nursing degrees and courses while working as a nurse, and she is CPR and perioperative certified.
Joan has a wealth of experience across many fields of nursing, and is now noted as a specialist at providing operating room care and support. She attributes her success to her dedication and perseverance, she is also involved in teaching nursing students.
