Nancy Ann Amaral is a Registered Nurse currently serving patients within the Indian River Medical Center in Gifford, Florida. With more than 27 years experience in nursing, she is a specialist cardiovascular, intensive care, and critical care nurse.
Nancy’s career in nursing began in 1989 when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, becoming a registered nurse. Since graduating, she has completed numerous advanced training courses, and holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Nancy has worked in many fields of nursing throughout her career. To keep up to date with the latest advances in nursing, she maintains a professional membership with the American Nurses Association and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She attributes her success to her open mindedness, as well as her willingness to learn new skills to help her patients. When she is not working, Nancy enjoys reading and music, and is a keen soccer fan.
