Annette Marshall is a Registered Nurse currently serving patients within Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi. With more than 13 years experience in nursing, she is a specialist surgical and pediatrics nurse.
Annette’s career in nursing began in 2003, when she graduated with her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from the Mississippi University For Women in Columbus.An advocate for continuing education, she later gained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the Mississippi University for Women, where she is also currently pursuing her Master of Science Degree in Nursing. Annette holds additional certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Annette has experience in many areas of nursing, and has previously been nominated for a prestigious Daisy Award. To keep up to date with the latest advances in her field, she maintains a professional membership with the American Nurses Association, the Mississippi Nurses Association and the Black Nurses Association. Annette attributes her success to the support of her family, friends and co-workers, and in her free time enjoys teaching at Sunday School.
