Dr. Lawrence Henry Trombka has been in practice for more than three decades, and is currently working within the Oklahoma Department of Corrections in Oklahoma, covering three prisons. He also has a private practice at Axis Healthcare in Muskogee, OK and is the Medical Director of Tiger Mountain Recovery in Henryetta, OK, helping women with addictions.
Dr. Trombka’s career in psychiatry began in 1983, when he graduated from La Salle University in Mexico City, Mexico. Upon receiving his Medical Degree, he completed a residency at the University of Missouri, where he was honored as Resident of the Year and Chief Resident. Dr. Trombka is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in his field, he remains a distinguished member of the American Medical Association and the Oklahoma State Medical Association. He has published 6 articles in journals and 3 chapters in books on the topic of Panic Disorder. Dr. Trombka is dedicated to providing the highest level of quality psychiatric care to his patients of all ages, and in his free time, he enjoys car racing, boxing, aquariums & corals, as well as traveling. He also volunteers to assist veterans at the Coffee Bunker in Tulsa, OK.
He proudly and honorably served in the USMC from 2001 to 2007.
