The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Kristina L. Henry, RN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Kristina L. Henry is a Registered Nurse and Labor & Delivery Nurse currently maintaining a PRN position within Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco CA. With over 18 years experience in nursing, she is a specialist maternity, NICU, and emergency room nurse.
Kristina L. Henry gained her Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 1998, becoming a Registered Nurse. Since graduating, she has completed many advanced training courses while working as a nurse, in areas from ER, obstetrics to labor and delivery and NICU. She has worked locally in some rural area hospitals in her early career, then moved on to work in some metropolitan hospital at that time she decided with the support of her husband and family that in 2008 she started traveling nursing career across the United States working in hospitals from New York to California, along with working as a disaster relief NICU RN with FEMA during the aftermath of the EF5 tornado of Joplin Missouri on May 22, 2011.
Kristina has a wealth of experience across many fields of nursing, and has worked in locations across the United States, but she is now renowned as an expert labor and delivery nurse. She attributes her success to the support of her husband, daughter, sons, and to the excellent mentors she has had throughout her career, her mother being one of the biggest supporters. When she is not working, Kristina enjoys spending time with her family, and helping her husband wrangle cattle, pampering her 2 cute pup, and spoiling her two beautiful grandchildren.
