Respected Family Medicine Physician, Sidney Clevinger, MD, is to be Recognized as a 2017 Top Doctor in Ocala, Florida

Sidney Clevinger, MD, Family Medicine Physician at Family Care Specialists, and affiliated with the Ocala Regional Medical Center and West Marion Community Hospital, has been named a 2017 Top Doctor in Ocala, Florida. He recently became the Chief Medical Officer for the North Florida Division of HCA Physician Services Group. Dr. Sidney Clevinger is a very experienced physician, having been in practice for more than three decades. He completed his medical training and internship at New York Medical College, which was followed by a residency at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, prior to entering private practice. Dr. Clevinger has been appointed an Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Florida School of Medicine.

Dr. Clevinger is board certified in Family Practice, and he treats and diagnoses a wide range of conditions for patients of all ages. Conditions treated include diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels, osteoporosis, heart conditions, and joint injections for osteoarthritis. Expert procedures carried out by Dr. Clevinger include blood testing, urinalysis, and skin cancer surgery and various other office based procedures, and he also administers vaccination and immunization shots.
