He is also affiliated with St. Tammany Parish Hospital and Slidell Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Carinder graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree in 1994 from Oklahoma State University in Tulsa. A residency and fellowship then followed at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. Carinder is board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Carinder maintains professional memberships with the American Medical Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Society of Hematology, allowing him to stay current in his field. Noted for his expertise in Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, and Breast Cancer, Dr. Carinder also serves as Clinical Associate Professor at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and attributes his success to his excellent training. When he is not assisting patients, Dr. Carinder enjoys swimming.
