Datalogics, the premier source for PDF and eBook technologies, is pleased to announce a partnership with the Maryland Division of Library Development and Services to implement the SimplyE solution in Maryland libraries. Datalogics will work with the libraries to have the integration completed and available for library card holders by September 2017.
Created by the New York Public Library, SimplyE integrates eBooks from a variety of content sources. Maryland residents will now be able to enter a library card number to get the publication titles they want on widely used devices like tablets or smartphones. SimplyE represents a leap forward in simplicity and ease of use for patrons. It uses the latest technology to provide a pleasant reading experience with exceptional graphics.
Maryland is one of the first states to integrate the SimplyE solution. Currently, the app is live in the New York Public Library, but other states are also working on deployment. Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Minnesota are all working towards bringing the solution to their library members.
Datalogics is excited to bring their integration expertise to the Maryland libraries. Their SimplyE integration and hosting service includes: deployment services, AWS hosting, connecting with content sources and ILS, open source access, SimplyE custom app branding, VendorID deployment, and ongoing support throughout the process.
