Dr. Borkow’s medical career commenced in 1968 when he graduated with his Medical Degree from Dalhousie University Faculty of Medicine in Nova Scotia, Canada. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his General Surgery internship at the University at Buffalo, followed by his Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Dr. Borkow is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in his field, Dr. Borkow maintains professional memberships with the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has earned the coveted title of Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and attributes his successful career to his ability to help his patients improve their self image.
