The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Joanne Pierre, MA, RN to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. She is a Registered Nurse with more than two decades of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially school health administration. Joanne is currently working as a Nurse Administrator within Jessie Trice Community Health Center in Florida.
Joanne’s career in nursing began in 1992 when she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from New York University. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to gain her Master of Arts Degree with a Nurse Practitioner concentration in 1999 within the same educational venue. She holds additional certification in CPR, and is also a Certified Nurse Practitioner.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in nursing, Joanne maintains a professional membership with the New York State Nurses Association and the American Nurses Association. She attributes her success to being very fortunate to have great leaders, who have encouraged, empowered, and pushed her forward throughout her journey. When she is not working, Joanne likes to relax by reading and cooking, and enjoys traveling.
