Young is a Registered Nurse with 15 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially emergency medicine, endoscopy, and triage nursing. Raven is currently serving patients as Emergency Medicine Clinical Supervisor within Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge-Morganton in North Carolina.
Raven gained with her Associate Degree in Nursing from Western Piedmont Community College.. An advocate for continuing education, she went on to attend Winston Salem State University, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in nursing, Raven maintains a professional membership with the Emergency Nurses Association. For her hard work and dedication, she has been honored with her Emergency Department’s STAR Award. Raven says that her success is thanks to her emphasis upon patient advocacy, and her passion for helping people when they are at their most vulnerable. When she is not working, Raven enjoys hiking and trekking, as well as spending time with her pet dogs.
