The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Andrew James Burgess, BN, RN to their prestigious organization with his upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. He is a Registered Nurse and Education Leader with extensive expertise in all facets of his work, especially emergency, critical care, and aged care nursing. Andrew is currently serving as Clinical Governance and Research Manager within the MarkMoran Group in Sydney, New South Wales. Additionally, he is a Medical Coordinator for the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade.
Andrew received his Diploma of Applied Science in Nursing and his Bachelor’s of Nursing Degree from Western Sydney University. An advocate for continuing education, he attended the University of Sydney, gaining his Master’s Degree in Health Education, and Master’s Degree in Critical Care Nursing. Furthermore, Andrew obtained his Certificate IV TAE from The College of Nursing in 2011. To keep up to date with the latest advances in his fast moving field, Andrew maintains professional memberships with the Palliative Care Network, the New South Wales Nurses and Midwives Association and Australian College of Nursing. He attributes his success to his hard work and passion for his field, and in his free time, Andrew enjoys cycling.
