The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Barbara Jean Bragdon, RN, BSN, CCRN, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Barbara Jean Bragdon is a Registered Nurse with more than 9 years of experience in her field and an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially nurse education and critical care. Barbara Jean is currently serving patients as the Director of Medical Surgical Unit currently at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth, Maine.
Barbara Jean Bragdon obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing at the University of Augusta and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Maine at Fort Kent and is an advocate for continuing education. Currently she is pursuing her Master of Science Degree in Nursing Education from Walden University. She holds additional certification as a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse.
Alongside her work as a registered nurse and director of the medical surgical unit, Barbara Jean wants to continue her career in nursing to work as a nurse educator who is passionate about helping others learn in a positive environment. She attributes her success to the colleagues and mentors who have helped her throughout her career. When not serving patients, Barbara Jean enjoys participating in volunteer work for her local fire department and is involved in a number of community organizations.
