If you are looking for free things to do in Tampa on Sunday, April 2, 2017, the Carrollwood Area Business Association (CABA) is serving up free food and fun from over 30 Tampa area restaurants and 90 business vendors at the Taste of Carrollwood, at George M. Steinbrenner Field, home of the Tampa Yankees.
CABA President Jeff Ryder said, “With Publix as our presenting sponsor, in addition to CABA’s collaboration with the Tampa Yankees, Telemundo, and Beasley Media Group, the Taste of Carrollwood is going to scale this year, as we move our annual event a little farther south on Dale Mabry.”
At the free Tampa food tasting, there will be fun activities for the whole family including an opportunity for kids to run the bases where the Tampa Yankees play at the newly renovated George M. Steinbrenner Field. Entertainment will be provided by local talent to include Flash from Q105 and the University of South Florida marching band.
“In addition to free food samples and lots of giveaways from over 90 business vendors, the Taste of Carrollwood is a free, family-fun event that encourages residents to shop local, buy local, and eat local from many of Tampa’s finest restaurants,” said Marta Skik Harich, CABA’s Director of Special Events.
At the free Tampa food tasting, there will be fun activities for the whole family including a scavenger hunt, where completed entries have the chance to win a free 40’ Flat Screen TV. Kids will enjoy in-crowd entertainers, musical performers, and a special “Kids Corner.”
