The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Brenda Walker-Williams, MSN, RN to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Brenda Walker-Williams is a Registered Nurse and Clinical Instructor with an extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, especially education and physiology labs. She is currently working as Clinical Instructor in the BSN pre-licensure program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Nursing and Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri.
Brenda attended Webster University, and graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1996 and because of her advocacy for lifelong learning, she completed a Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a Nursing Education concentration in 2010 within the same educational venue.. She is currently researching schools in pursuit of a terminal degree in nursing..
To maintain the latest advances in her field, Brenda served as local chapter Vice President of Lambda Phi of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and member of Human Anatomy and Physiology Society. She formerly served as an officer in the United States Army Reserve Nurses Corp, and attributes her success to her Mom’s shared experiences and her unrelenting faith. She strives to impart to future nurses, the importance of human touch and compassion for every patient regardless of their status in life.When she is not working, Brenda enjoys writing inspirational poetry on current issues, sewing, quilting, and traveling.
