Dr. Luna graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of San Andres in La Paz, Bolivia, where he was a faculty member for 12 years. He then went on to gain his Specialty Degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Southern California, and has earned a preceptorship certificate in Orthodontics and General Dentistry from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is also a Certified Dental Laser Provider. Dr. Luna also served as a faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He also completed 2 yrs of continuing education in Orthodontics at Progressive Orthodontics Seminars and another 2 yrs of continuing education in Orthodontics at Academy of GP Orthodontics.
To keep up to date with the latest advances in his field, Dr. Luna maintains professional memberships with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, Academy of GP Orthodontics. He attributes his success to his desire to help others to the best of his ability, a love for precision, as well as communication with others.
