Dr. Steven P. Gorman graduated with his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska in 1992. After completing an internship at Creighton University Affiliated Hospitals, he undertook a residency at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Following completion of his residency Dr. Gorman was selected to a chief residency position at Creighton University/Veteran Affairs Medical Center. After completing this additional year of training Dr. Gorman took an Assistant Professor position at Creighton University School of Medicine. He thoroughly enjoyed the next 1 ½ years of teaching students and residents before relocating to his home state of California.
Dr. Gorman is an expert in preventive medicine. He maintains a professional membership with the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Gorman loves the fact that in medicine no 2 days are ever the same, and he learns something new every day. He says that taking time to listen to his patients is the secret behind his success. When he is not assisting patients, Dr. Gorman enjoys hiking, bike riding, and fine dining.
